Small businesses are vital to any thriving downtown, and in order to help downtown Las Vegas thrive and be the best that it can be we have partnered with the Urban Chamber of Commerce, Latin Chamber of Commerce, Prestamos CDFI, and the Niche Marketing to run the Small Business Incubation program. Thank you to a grant from the City of Las Vegas we have been able to offer this program at no cost to participants.

Goals of The Program

  1. Increase the capacity of current business and provide them with growth strategies
  2. Build a culture of savings and increase financial literacy for businesses
  3. Develop a diverse supplier pipeline for companies
  4. Create equity in the supplier base by increasing supplier representation in underutilized diversity classification for companies
  5. Increase the economic impact on suppliers and communities
  6. Strengthen brand and relationships for partners and stakeholders

This program is primarily intended to help minority-owned small businesses develop a plan for success and growth in the coming years. We are thrilled to share some images of our 2023 graduating class with this post, and our 2024 winter cohort has already kicked off!

One of the perks of going through the program is that the Urban and Latin Chambers of Commerce will provide one-on-one mentors to each of the participants to help support them through the program and provide guidance after graduation to help new graduates implement what they learned throughout the course.

To be considered for future cohorts in this program participants must have a Las Vegas business license, low or non-established credit, and revenue of under $500,000.
