Executive Director

Audrea Hooper is the Executive Director of the Downtown Vegas Alliance (DVA), a member-driven 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization that connects its members and downtown stakeholders to influence growth in the heart of Las Vegas. Founded in 2008, the DVA was formed by business leaders and property owners with a vision to bring together stakeholders who were passionate about the community and had the capacity to cultivate change and put it into action. Today, the DVA is the leading business voice and authority in downtown Las Vegas.

As a small business owner and a member of the DVA, Hooper served on the organization’s board before taking on the executive director role in July 2024. Hooper brings more than 15 years of experience executing large-scale events, brand awareness campaigns, tours, festivals, product launches, exclusive private parties and more to the position. She has worked with national brands, including Red Bull, Crocs, Levis, The Rose Parade, and Life is Beautiful.

As someone who has lived and worked in the downtown Las Vegas community for more than a decade, she is passionate about cultivating connections and positive development in the core of the city. Prior to joining the DVA, Hooper served in multiple roles, including director of brand experiences, for 13 years at the Zappos family of companies before founding Till Death Do Us Party, an event and party planning business in 2021.

She has grown her business year over year since its inception and is proud to have her company located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas at Bridger Avenue and 7th Street.

Hooper is a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) with a Certificate of Event and Meeting Planning from San Francisco State University. She and her family reside in the Las Vegas Medical District.
